DIATHERIX Laboratories, a CLIA certified high complexity reference laboratory, is an emerging leader in the rapid and accurate detection of infectious disease pathogens. DIATHERIX utilizes a unique PCR multiplex amplification process along with a microarray detection platform. The unique amplification process allows multiple pathogens to be amplified at the same time and the microarray detection platform ensures a very accurate detection and identification of the pathogens. The combination of these technologies allows DIATHERIX to develop multi-pathogen panels that enable detection of pathogens and toxins in respiratory, wound, gastrointestinal, ENT, HPV and sexually transmitted disease infections. Results are typically reported the day the specimen is received, giving physicians the necessary information for accurate, timely treatment.
